Private beta terms

Effective September 7, 2026

These terms apply to the Linkborne website and any private beta build provided through it. By redeeming a beta code or installing a beta build, a tester agrees to these terms.

Invitation-only access

Beta access is personal to the approved tester and may be limited by date, download attempts, and device activation. Codes, download links, application packages, and license credentials may not be published, sold, or shared with another person.

Evaluation software

Beta builds are pre-release software provided for testing and feedback. Features may be incomplete, may change without notice, and may not be suitable for operational, safety-critical, emergency, or mission-essential use.

Authorized equipment and networks

Testers are responsible for using Linkborne only with equipment, accounts, radio plans, networks, frequencies, data, and permissions they are authorized to access. Linkborne does not grant authority to operate any connected equipment or communications system.

License restrictions

Unless separately authorized in writing, the tester may not redistribute, sublicense, sell, reverse engineer, defeat access controls, or use Linkborne to develop a competing product. A beta license may be revoked at any time.

No manufacturer affiliation

Linkborne is an independent product. References to third-party equipment or compatibility are factual only and do not imply endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, certification, or affiliation.

Feedback

Testers may provide observations, defect reports, feature suggestions, and optional diagnostic logs. Testers are responsible for reviewing an attachment and removing passwords, encryption keys, radio plans or fills, license tokens, private addresses, and unnecessary personal information before upload. Unless another written agreement applies, Linkborne may use submitted feedback to improve the product without creating a payment obligation.

Disclaimer

Beta software is provided as available and without warranties to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. The tester accepts the risks of using pre-release software and remains responsible for independent verification, backups, and safe operating procedures.
